Galinda's Boutique story is not very different from many other eBay Sellers out there. I lost my job 3 years ago. I always wanted to start my own business and knew eBay was a great platform to start with. And while I was looking for another job I figured I would give my dream a try. My husband was very supportive of my endeavour and with his background in sales and marketing was able to teach me a lot of what he knew on the subject. I came from a background in real estate so I was kinda lost. I did know how to shop though.
A year after I started the business my husband also lost his job as well. It turns out he wasn't immune to the declining economy either. We made a decision together to race as hard as we could to make this endeavour work. And with the help of eBay, our hardwork is paying off. We have grown exponentially year over year and have our customers and eBay to thank for that.
In our growth we have been able to provide job security and growth to 7 employees. We have a large warehouse facility out of Orlando, Florida where we work and ship. We plan on being around for a very long time.
We strive for complete customer satisfaction because we have our customers to thank for everything. It really is amazing that a family during this depression lost two incomes and was still able to stay afloat thanks to our customers, our employees and eBay. THANK YOU!
